I i forgot the password, i was disabled. How can i get connected again

I got an Ipad that has disabled because of several attempts at setting the password. how do I get it connected or restored so that I can set it up

Connect the device to your computer and then restore it via iTunes. Note: if the iCloud Activation Lock is enabled, you will need to enter the associated passcode to use the device even after restoring it.
