How do i get the favorites off the top of the screen when you double tap the home button?

When you double tap the home button it reveals your favorites (the people you have texted) on the top of the screeen - i do not want that displayed how do you get that off?

Go to settings>mail, contacts and calendar>show in app switcher, toggle recent; this will not show recent favorites in the double click home screen.
