How do I get notes on phone that have disappeared

After doing upgrade to phone my notes are gone

If the notes are associated with an email account, go into the Mail, Contacts, Calendar settings for that specific account and make sure that the toggle next to Notes is enabled. You can also try restoring from a backup that may have contained the notes. If neither applies to your situation then the notes are likely lost.
