Help setting a custom tone for email notifications

So I have converted the wife to IOS but she is used to being able to set custom tones (that we created in Garage Band) for her different email accounts..
We were able to set her ringtone and text tone
But while I choose the tone for Mail -- it doesnt seem to work

Also if you have two email accounts in Mail -- can you create a custom tone for each individual account?

I don't use ringtones so on this front I'm no help to her....

Any help would be appreciated -- thank you!

I also use custom ringtone for my email but as far as I know you can only set Tone for New Mail and Sent Mail

so you can't use a music clip for an incoming email the same way you can for an incoming text?
What is the difference between new mail and "email"

Email and Mail are the same. New Mail is incoming mail that's new. I just tested this on 2 Gmail accounts. The custom ringtone worked on both accounts. I'm on a 6s Plus running iOS 10.1.1. Check her selection in Settings > Sounds for New Mail.

I'm on iOS 12 and have 4 email accounts.
In settings, under the Sounds & Haptics, I have new mail set to none.
In Notifications, I have custom ring tone for each mail account.
This works just fine for me.
