Help getting Verizon iPhone to vibrate for calls/texts in non-silent mode!!

This has been the most frustrating thing since I have owned the phone... When the side rocker key is on SOUND mode in my Settings -> Sounds mode I select Vibrate: Yes for both.... And i have a silent ringtone set for the sound, and "none" for the sound for text messages.

Vibrate is still set to YES. In silent mode it does vibrate for calls and texts and in sound mode it does NOT!

Any suggestions?

Here is a picture of my settings... in regular sound mode the phone does not vibrate at all.

Looks like that for texts "none" means nothing at all.
