Has anyone been able to update their AirTag Firmware?

I know the update was released, but neither of my AirTags have been updated, and this seems to be an issue across the board!

Same here! None of mine have updated either and they’re always in range of my iPhone.

Well, 8 days later and still no update. AirTag stays within 10’ of iPhone.

Yep, that’s the only way. No manual update available.

Even my new AirTag that I configured today is on the original firmware.

The firmware on both of my AirTags have updated to 1.0.276. I just checked after seeing an article that they updated them.

Yep all of mine updated to the latest firmware as well but I never got the first update.

It seems to me that nobody did! At least, nobody here on iMore! And I checked on places like Reddit and other forums as well.
