Conference Calling, GSM and FaceTime

It's been years we've been enjoying conference calls on GSM. Apple introduced conference calls on FaceTime with iOS 8 in the past few weeks.

Do you think a mix of both could happen soon? Like one of the participants would use FaceTime and the other one be on a GSM call?
