Case less camera scratching

After a month of trying many cases I'm ready for going case less. I'm pretty careful and now that I have AppleCare Plus I feel better enjoying the nice design of this 7 Plus.

Question, will normal careful use cause the camera to be scratched setting it down on counters etc?

I'm also thinking of gettting a Sena leather pouch to carry it in for non usage times. If so I could always set the phone on that.

Any thoughts? Thank you.

I would still worry. I know it is a sapphire lens cover, but accidents happen no matter how careful we are. That's why they are called accidents. I am very careful with my phone and have been lucky to have never done anything silly so far. It will all depend on your lifestyle as well. It varies for all of us. I workout 4 times a week, work as a foreman on a 65' printing press and have a fairly active lifestyle. So it is why I don't go caseless.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against a naked phone. But I believe in prevention as the best medicine.
