Can I change my email font on my iPhone?

While typing my email, the font is in the default iPhone font. After it is sent, in the thread, it is in Times New Roman. Can I change this?

Not that I'm aware of - at least not in regard to the native Calendar app. The font is the same, whether composing or after it's been sent
