can a facetime conversation be recorded?

If my daughter has a conversation with her boyfriend on Facetime, can it be recorded without her knowledge by him? I am trying to warn her of the many dangers out there

Directly on device? Maybe... via external devices? Absolutely.

FYI: FaceTime can be recorded on a Mac, but like kch50428 said, on an iOS device it would have to be with an external device.

The trouble with daughters is that they seldom listen to advice so that you might end up with a jerk of a Son-in-law
