Call forwarding icon on iPad???

I tried using my iPhone 4 sim card in my iPad 3G with the appropriate apn change - although it appeared to work, I noticed that the call divert (call forwarding icon) was showing in the status bar, just to the right of the signal display. Any idea how to get rid of that on the iPad (on my phone with the same card there is no such icon)

Strange!!!

Btw using 4.2.1, no JB
