Calender and Contacts

Hi All

I am thinking about getting an Iphone. I watched the Iphone video on Apple website. The Host talks about how it Sync's to your Calender and Contacts. I have a HP Computer and have not really used a Calender Program on it is there a calender program that works well with the Iphone? I also have a motorola cell phone with all my phone contacts on it, is there a way to transfer them to the Iphone or do I have to manualy do it which is ok

I'm pretty sure the only calendar the iPhone will sync with is outlook on a PC, you can put all your contacts on your sim and then import them to the iPhone when you put your sim in it, when I purchased mine from at&t they moved someones contacts from their previous phone to their new iPhone with a little machine. You might check with them about that, I didn't bother as all my contacts were in outlook.

As far as I remember, this this was primarily referring to the Calendar (iCal) and Contacts (Address Book) on a Mac.

The iPhone will indeed sync contacts and calendars with Outlook on a PC.

Thanks for all the info so far, do you know if Apple store can do the contact switch as well from regular cell phone to Iphone?
