Broken Tab

Has anyone had their tab break and will apple store replace/repair it under the standard warranty?

My mophie juice pak broke it off when i was taking it out of the case. Seems pretty weak to break off so easily.

Please read the warranty document carefully and if they had mentioned about replacing it then you can take it to your Apple store.

hi folks, apple replaced my phone under the 1yr warranty. Amazing service and lightening fast. Awesome customer service. I love how they make appointments, great you when you walk in, tell you who to talk to, and then let you wander the store and the person that will help you comes and finds you and takes care of you.

yes, it was the silent/vibrate/audio switch that broke off.

If it was a 3GS, there have been a few reports of the switch being overly loose, or falling off. One person said that they glued it back on.

Sounds like a build quality issue, so it should be covered under warranty.

Mine was a 3G, not a 3GS

Mine feel off on my 3G also and apple replaced the iPhone.

The only problem is now I have to buy another zagg shield.
