Typical predatory capitalism in action. We've spent 10+ years being told subs were just the way of the future. Maybe when the rich folks at Davos a few years ago told us what they were doing, we should have believed them. You shall own nothing and like it. Unless we stop buying into this garbage, it will not change and complaining about it does NOTHING.

There was a time when consumers KNEW how powerful they were and would shun / boycott / do without until companies adjusted their prices / way of doing things.

There is something going on with all this. I'm perfectly happy to buy products however I will not needlessly subscribe to things. on device TTS should not require subscription as there is little to no ongoing development needed. just a disgusting tactic
