What's the difference between the prepaid service verse post payed? So far I can only figure out no wifi calling or volte on prepaid. Which isn't a big deal to me.

I know cricket ( which uses att network ) slows down your internet, I think it has a maximum speed of 5gbps, as far as voice and text it's the same thing.

I switched to it last Saturday. So far all I've noticed is no volte, or hd voice as att calls it, and no wifi calling. Just ran a speed test, doesn't seem throttled.

ATT Go is ATT's prepaid service. Biggest difference is less roaming and tower prioritization. If you are on a congested tower, priority service is given to ATT post paid customers.

Cricket is a MVNO. Same "downsides" as above, plus they limit speeds to 8mbps.

AT&T no longer throttles prepaid customers. I have a AT&T prepaid line just to use for work for awhile and in one area, I tested out at about 60+Mbps.

They used to limit prepaid to no more then 8Mbps.
