Can not edit profile

New to the iPhone forum but I've registered and activated my account. For some reason whenever I try to edit my profile or avatar, I get the following message:

cre8tivspirit, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Hello and welcome. You need at least a minimum of 10 posts before you can edit those things. Simply to cut down on spammer accounts.

Hi and welcome to the forums, like I said above it's not a "problem" but more of a security feature to cut down on spammer accounts. Once you hit a certain number of posts you will be able to edit your profile away.

should say in the email you must make 10 posts and then you can create your profile
How hard would that be ??
Would solve the problem of telling us to create our profile first !
