Hi everyone. Here is my problem:

I have a huge PDF library (around 1000 documents). I have them all in GoodReader in my iPad. For every one I read and annotate I then send it flattened in my iBooks app (in my iPad).

I thought that once I would sync my iPad to my MacBook that runs mavericks and has the iBooks app, I could sync both my collections (in which I have my various PDFs) and the PDF files.

It turns out that this seems impossible. I know that I can email each file to myself and then open the attachment in my iBooks on my MacBook. However, are there any other ways to do so?

Thanks

Try opening iBooks on your Mac, click "File" then click "move books from iTunes". Hopefully this works for you, if not the only other option I can think of is emailing them to yourself. Good Luck and Welcome to iMore!!!

It did not work. As it seems iBooks will not sync books or PDFs that are not coming from iBooks store. WTH is that? I should have stayed with Mountain Lion.

Thanks for the welcoming but I've been around for over a year 😊
