Need some help please

I have an iPhone 4 with 6.1.3 is there anything I can do to get it unlocked?
Is any JB going to work or some type of downgrade?

I know there is factory unlock but it seems to be 100+ for rogers Canada.
Most of the sites online seem like scams.

I'm a new when it comes to iphone but not technology in general.

Jailbreaks are not unlocks. There is a Cydia app that does unlock, but it only supports certain basebands. When you go to Settings->General->About, what does the "modem firmware" say?

If I cant jailbreake it I cant use a cydia app right?

That is correct, but your phone is jailbreakable.


However, your only unlock solution is an IMEI lock, due to your baseband. You can try EBay, perhaps it's cheaper through them.

Its $120 on ebay which is too much. I would maybe pay up to 50 bucks.

I guess I can wait and see if a jailbreak unlock becomes available?
