iPhone 4s on t-mobile after absinthe jailbreak not working

I have an ATT iPhone 4s which I was able to activate with the sim from my iPad. I ran absinthe to do an untethered jailbreak which seemed to go ok but when I put my t-mobile sim card in I get the activation screen and can no longer use the phone. How do I get past this?

Your iPhone can't be registered on AT&T server, ever, to use it. you have to get one without AT&T registration, put in the tmobile sim and connect it to a computer.
