Unlocking to sell.....

My 3gs. I have a couple of questions. First, I was wondering if I could unlock it without my sim card installed? Secondly, when I end up selling my phone, do you recommend selling it without my sim card installed. I only have one, and it is now installed in my other phone. Thanks!

i believ u can unlock w/o a sim card. in fact i think its recomended. as for selling it u should leave the sim card out methinks. doesnt sim card have personal info?

sim card does indeed have personal information, though im not too sure you can read it with stock iPhone.. I would agree with above.. jailbreak/unlock without a simcard using blackra1n and sell that baby. make sure you install cydia, sn0w, terminal, and openSSH for the buyer.. because everyone needs those apps upon jailbreaking.
