What is the easiest way to add music to iTunes but not have it all on the computer?

I have a new laptop and have iTunes all installed. Here is my dilemma. I have a bunch of CD's and maybe a few songs received from "other" sources that I want to add to my library. I do not want to use up all the memory on my computer by having the music stored on it. What is the easiest way to add music to iTunes but not have it all stored and using memory on my computer. I do have Perfect Match if that helps with any of the answers. I am fairly new to itunes so I am sorry if this seems like a silly question to be asking.
