How do I get app from the App Store without a credit card?

When i type my password to install an app, this tab pops up to varify my account and then when i continue it leads me to some billing infomation. This never happened before as i have a free icloud account. Please help.

Could it be an app you were viewing is not available in your Country and so the App Store on your device switched? (you would have gotten a message BUT you might have missed it) Here's how to switch back....

You can also buy prepaid iTunes cards and use those if you really would rather not use your credit card.

Change your address to match the address you have at your bank. Or use Apple's address in. Cupertino, CA. It works.
