Charger died out?

I just used my charger last night. Charged my phone up to 100%. I go to use it again today, any plug I put it in, in my house. Nothing. It is the original one that came with the phone about a year ago. Did I kill it? What gives? About to go grab another new one if this one isn't working.

First I would check the cable with a computer and see if it works. Then you at least have eliminated the cable.

I ended up opening up phone with passcode then plugging in and then it recognizes it to charge. I'm wondering if the latest update messed up stuff. Seems battery is going quicker
