Has the Battery Level of your Watch Dropped Rapidly Since Updating to watchOS 10.1?

It is being reported as a widespread issue in which “some” people are complaining about rapid battery drainage since updating to watchOS 10.1.

I’m not experiencing the issue. In fact, the battery level of my Watch Ultra 2 is currently at 93% and I took it off the charger nearly 11 hours ago.

Not specifically to 10.1, but the 10 series firmware has been very heavy on the battery.

We’re talking a 3-5 hour difference over a typical day when compared to watchOS 9.

I think mine has. Seems like it discharges faster than on 10. I'll have to watch it some more. Some say it fixed a drain issue. Mine may have been Snoopy doing his thing.

Mine remains the same as it has been since I installed 10.0. (It's hard to draw much of a conclusion after only one full day, though, maybe?)

I thought my Ultra was much worse because yesterday the battery was already down to 50% at noon. Then, I realized installing 10.1 had reset the battery charge level to "optimized." I turned that off and, as a result, it is back to normal today.
