Text message notifications, why aren't I getting them when I am in another app?

Text message notifications

When I am in another app like Facebook or on safari, etc.... My text messages don't pop up on my screen. The only way I know I have a text is when I actually go to my home screen and see if I have a badge notification. I have messages set to show all notifications. Any advice on how to fix this?

It never happens in mine, have you updated your Facebook app?

Did you check if you had your text notifications disabled?
