iphone 5c: doesn't ring, consistently.

I'm far from a full service user. That being said, my phone isn't muted or on airplane mode. Sometimes it rings, other times it doesn't. Is there a setting that might cause this, or do I need a new phone?

Is it connected to a Bluetooth device? Have you tried contacting your wireless carrier to see if they can troubleshoot from their end?

Also, have you checked to make sure the "Do Not Disturb" feature is not turned on?
