How is your iPhone 5 battery life?

This usage is based on 3g service and WIFI the majority of the time. I went in and out of LTE just a few times.

My latest. Wifi at home 4G LTE everywhere else. Web browsing, texting, and emailing. Created a few lock screens with pimp my screen app.

Is this a mix of LTE and Wi-Fi? What voodoo are you doing LOL?

This was my best so far but 80% of the time was on Wi-Fi.

Mine is terrible in comparison to that of the iPone 4 I had. I cannot get through and entire day and my usage hasn't really changed. I have had 2 iPhone 5's so far (Not related to the battery) and have the same experience on both.

Here is one from today. I did do some 20 min navigation on this one in addition to web surfing, texting, emailing and other screen on activities. The battery is as good as my iPhone 4 used to be and the 4 did not have battery sucking LTE.

Usage: 3 Hours, 21 Minutes
Standby: 12 Hours, 55 Minutes

Steady usage 52%, in full LTE Verizon area, also using WiFi when possible.

Just had my iPhone 5 replaced due to faulty on/off button and already this battery is better than my previous one. Usually I am lucky to make it home with 10% battery after a day of work. First day with the new phone and I still had 40% battery when I got home.

So I did a "stress" test. These were my results. My use was pretty passive in nature. As I am a heavy user, this is not indicative of my reality.

Company switched me over 2 weeks ago as I was the last hold out with a blackberry. Gotta say the battery life is the worst I have seen in a phone, 100-150 emails a day few times on facebook,twitter cnn etc and the BB Torch would go 2 -2/12 days with out a chrage. The 5 I have to recharge every day if I am lucky I will get 8 hours. few of the others are having same issue. Phone is impressive so far with everything but that. If the battery keeps draining so quick I will definitley have my IT switch me back to BB10 in new year when it comes out.
To bad I was starting to like the 5 but the battery life is becoming a pain. I will try the whole drain and full recharge a few times to see if that is better

Here is mine on the first full day of changing and using it. It's about the same as the 4S when I first got it. You have to remember that the battery will get better and it gets conditioned.

Are (or were) you in an area with bad reception? Low signal will rapidly deplete a battery. And using cell data over wifi will use more battery. WiFi is a lot more efficient.

i stay in an area wit bad reception, could this be the reason y my battry life is bad?
