    I've noticed this issue since last week on my iPhone 4. When I go to update a app I receive this "cannot connect to iTunes store" error and will not update my apps. I can download apps but I can't update any. I have done the following steps:

    Reset network settings
    Reset router (even though it is working 100%)
    Signed in/out of itunes
    Numerous reboots (power + home)

    I can update apps via iTunes on PC just not on my iPhone.
    Any suggestions? Thank you.

    I agree with @AppleCPUGeek. Try a restore.

    I had the same problem as you a couple weeks ago, but it just kind of fixed itself after 48 hours.

    A restore will nuke your iPhone, then reinstall iOS and your media. Just make sure you sync/backup before doing it (but based on your post, I think you already know what you're doing).

    Yup. Have the latest version of iTunes.
