Problem downloading iOS4?

My keyboard doesn't even show up in my list.

My Battery Doctor Pro app works great on my daughter's iPod Touch 3G with iOS4, but crashes on my GM. (Both 3G and 3G(S)).

Something tells me that I need to downgrade this GM to an earlier version then update to iOS4 through iTunes.

GM Candidate = Build 8A293

4.0 released today = Build 8A293

They are the same DataCentre. Follow the bionicspyder's guide. That should get you up and running. Let us know if it doesn't. If not, we can add it to the official 4.0 bugs sticky. What kind of keyboard is it?

You need to select Restore in iTunes, not updated. This is if you are using the GM seed and want to update to the Standard version released today.

Compared the GM to today's release. GM is a bit (not much) smaller than the final version.

i had to click restore in order for it to work otherwise it said "current" so just make sure you back up and then click restore that should do it.

How ? I've been downloading to iTunes for three hours.

Took an hour/40 to download-couldn't stick around to install-will have to do that tonight. Hopefully it will be quick and painless.
