Newbie to the iphone

hey folks.

bought a 2nd hand iphone 3g 8gb

couple questions as ive not a clue lol

Its been jail broken and have my vodafone sim now runnin in it,

Need to know where i can get my internet settings as it says i have no data server.

Itunes.

Created an account with itunes but when i stick it into the laptop it still comes up with old owners login details, how do i sort that?

also can i not stick my phone into my brothers laptop/itunes and take music from his?

Also if i sync the phone to my new account will i lose all my apps and the jailbreak thing?

any help much appreiated.

Once you sync to your brother's laptop to get his music, you will have to continue to sync to his computer or you'll lose his music. It will overwrite any music/apps you currently have on there (but they don't belong to you anyway). Syncing won't lose your jailbreak though. Just make sure you do NOT upgrade the firmware or you will lose the jailbreak and unlock.
