S9-HD Stereo Bluetooth interference/ help

I recently bought a motorola S9-HD stereo headset to use with my new iPhone 3GS. I have been having problem with just one earbud/ side having what sounds like interference. I cannot figure out how to fix it. I have reset the headset and "forgot" the device in iPhone settings and repaired it and this helps temporarily helped then it goes back to it's normal sounds/ interference. I am not sure that it is interference or what. Please has anyone else had this problem and been able to fix it? For reference it has always been fully charged and this happened and I running 3.1.2 and jailbroke but this problem came about before I jailbroke my iPhone. Please help!
