Increase Touch Sensitivity

Is there a way to increase the sensitivity of the touch screen on an iPhone 3GS running iOS 5.0.1? I just got an Otterbox for my phone and occasionally, I have to tap things a few times to get them to work, which I think is an effect of the screen protector.

Nope. There sure isn't. And that's wierd because I just picked up an otter box today myself, and I haven't had a single issue with it.

I had the same issue so I ripped the screen protector off my otterbox since I have the screen covered with zagg invisible shield.
