3gs to touch with no sim.

I have a 3gs that I want to use as my iPod but I have Verizon and don't have a sim at all any suggestions on how I would do this?

You don't need a sim to use it just as an iPod. Just turn it on and it works the same without the cellular service.

Because you generally need a sim to activate an old phone to use it as an iPod. To the op, there are jailbreak tools you can use to "hacktivate" it, or you can just get a Verizon sim elsewhere.

The phone would not let me do anything without a sim card so I re jailbroke it...
