Upgrade iOS on Jailbroken and unlocked iphone 3GS

Hello,

I am new to this forum and a noob to iphone. I have jailbroken and unlocked iphone 3gs version 4.0.2 and baseband 05.13.04 The phone was jailbroken and unlocked by a friend of mine who has since moved out of state.

I wanted help on upgrading the iphone to latest possible version without loosing the jailbreak and the unlock.

I will appreciate any help.

Do some searches I be leave you can update to 4.3 while without updating the baseband but you would still have to jb and unlock again
