iPhone 3GS and Ford Audio

Hi,
I've just bought a Ford Fiesta (Dec 09) with Ford Audio built in. I have an iPhone 3GS.
The bluetooth works great for both phone calls and streaming music but there's a couple of little niggles.
1. I can connect via the white iPhone USB cable and scroll through music and playlists but there's no volume. It's as high as it will go on the phone in every area. I've tried using USB alone, headphone cable alone and both together but with no luck.
2. The phonebook displays contact entries with last name first even though the phone is set to display first then last- any idea how to change that around?

I have the same problem with the phonebook issue. Last name then first name.

As for your problem with the USB cord.... I had similar problem... I think it is something with SYNC in Ford. I just use the bluetooth. U can still plug your phone for charging... just make sure that you select BLUETOOTH on SYNC instead of USB cable and it will charge and play just fine.
