Is having backlight bleeding normal?

So, I started using my ipad more at night to read kindle books and watch video, but I'm noticing that I'm getting this weird kind of light coming from the screen edges. I looked this up and it's called backlight bleeding.





Here's some photos I took trying to capture what I'm talking about.

I bought the ipad 4 around June of last year, so I don't even know if Apple would do a replacement or if it's even worth it.

Is it just normal? Do you guys have it as we'll?

Have the 4 and haven't seen any bleeding at all on mine.

Do you think apple would cover this within there year warranty? I don't have AppleCare

So, I did two exchanges at the apple store and got one that's better, but there's still a bit of the backlight bleeding, only noticeable when at full brightness.

Maybe I can't get one with no bleeding at all?
