Why is my iPad 2 not showing any messages, completely blank screen

I have forced it to close and still not working iOS 9.3.2 up to date

Welcome to iMore! Here are some things to try:

1. Reset your device by holding the power button and home button down simultaneously until you see the Apple boot logo.

2. Go to Settings > Messages, sign out of iMessage, and then back in.

3. If all else fails, boot into recovery and restore through iTunes. This will install a fresh copy of iOS and stock apps.
