Not sure what's going on with Maps. Noticed a massive drop in battery life and when I checked my battery statistics I found that Maps has been running in the background for 2.2 hours. Launched Maps and what was displayed is what you would see if you zoomed all the way out until you could the view of the Earth but without any detail. As far as I can tell Maps has spent all this time searching unsuccessfully for my location. I tapped the location icon on the bottom left of the screen and my location was found. I'll monitor my battery stats to see if things settle down and return to normal but wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this or know what could be causing it.
