need help

i have a 3rd gen ipod with 4.2.1 software
i used the programme greenposion and done the jailbreak worked fine but the app cydia wouldnt work properly soo i deleted it off my ipod and restored it back to factory settings
i tried too jail break my ipod again and the screen turns white and everythng but wenever i go into my apps the loader app isnt there and the cydia app isnt there either
does any1 know what is wrong or how too fix this??

What firmware is actually on the device? When younrestored it the firmware may have been upgraded. So let us know and then we can suggest a tool.
