Morning as per another post on iPhone 4 untethered 4.3.1. Obviously playing the waiting game at the moment on that one.

I also have an iPad 1 also running iOS 4.3.1. Not sure what baseband is or where to get this info.

Can I unlock and then downgrade to say 4.2.1? If so the million dollar question. How!

I don't think the iPad has a locked baseband, but you NEED your 4.2.1 SHSH blobs to downgrade, otherwise wait a month or two or jailbreak with Sn0wbreeze but it's tethered.
