i have a Verizon iphone 4 with 4.2.6 and have not decided yet whether to try and jailbreak or not? I REALLY want to but see so many posts with problems and i can stand the idea of messing up my phone.
Anyways, i just updated my iTunes to the newest version 10.2 and was wondering if i do decide to try an jailbreak, can i do so having this newest itunes version installed?
Yeah the iTunes doesn't do anything with the JB.

Went ahead and did the jailbreak and swore i messed it up, but must not have cuz it worked fine first try, go figure. Anyways spent yesterday evening browsing the Cydia apps and decided that there just wasn't much that i HAD to have, so i'm going back. Perhaps after more apps are made for ios 4.x i may re-jailbreak, but for now i'm just going to stay with stock.

Did you try biteSMS, Lockinfo, or folderenhancer? If not, you haven't lived ;)
