iPod Touch dead after greenp0ison RC6

my ipod touch died after after jailbreking using greenpoison
and now my ipod don't turn on and i can't enter in DFU mode.

i was using ios 4.1 Pwnaged then updated to 4.2 and then greenpoison RC6.1

anyone know what can i do?

Mac or Windows? be a little more descriptive can the iPod power on at all? does it get to the Apple Logo and wont go any further? have you tried putting it into recovery mode and doing a restore? I will help you further if I can once you answer the questions.

If you want an easy way to put it into recovery mode turn it off by holding the power and home button. Once it's off hold down the home button and plug in the USB cable continuing to hold the home button. Once it boots to the USB cable to iTunes on the screen it's in recovery mode you can let go of the home button.

Hi,

I have the exact same problem.
The iPod touch is 2nd Gen
I can't power it on. The screen is just black and stuck like that
Even when I plug it in nothing happens
Mac OSX Lion
I was using greenpois0n 1.0 RC6.1
The problem happened after I started the DFU process at start.
It was good till I hit home button with sleep button.
I would really appreciate some help
