    I jailbroke it using redsn0w.

    I installed ultrasn0w from Cydia.

I installed the sbsettings ultrasn0w toggle.

The problem? The toggle won't stay on! I turn it on, exit sbsettings, then go back into sbsettings, and the toggle is off again!

My question is this: I have not put the tmobile SIM card in yet.

How can I tell if ultrasn0w a) installed properly, b) is working?

Keep in mind that I have not put the new SIM in yet, I'm waiting for my friend to meet with me so I can give them the iPhone.

So basically, I'm flying blind. I can't test it - yet!

Additional info - when I restored the phone to os 3.0, I set it up as a new iPhone. Since the phone has been disconnected, it would not activate via iTunes. So I took my CURRENT, valid AT&T iPhone 3G SIM card, and legitimately activated it via iTunes. I then put back the old SIM card. This was all done BEFORE I jailbroke, and before I unlocked.

You most likely have to have the sim in the phone for ultasnow to work. Put te sim in then turn on ultrasnow
