iOS 5 beta 2 and itunes

I recently downloaded and installed iOS5 beta 2 on my iphone 4. The problem I am having is when I try to sync, the option is grayed out and unavailable, both under the summary tab in itunes as well as the apps tab. Unfortunately, because of this, i had to go back to beta 1 and hoping for some answers on why this is happening. My brother had no brother doing it. BTW all my contacts, texts, and photos are on my phone, its just a problem with my apps.

Did you also update iTunes to the 2nd beta? If not, that's your issue.

Yes I did...the one for my Mac that is 74.3 MB

Are you trying to do the wireless sync? If so, did you enable it in Options on the Summary screen? Once it's enabled there, you can enable it on the phone...
