Help installing public beta

Got my iPhone 7 Plus 128 gig. I updated iOS from 10.0 .2 to 10.0 .3. I want to install the public beta but it will not OTA for meI have signed in to the program and downloaded the profile but the OTA does not show up

After the public beta profile for iOS 10 in installed (not just downloaded) and showing, hard reset your phone and then check again to see if the beta is waiting to be downloaded / installed.

Did all that. Still a no go. I had it on my 6. I'm familiar with the process, something I'm missing though.

That happened to me once when I bought a new iPad. Took a few days for the public beta to show up. It was really weird.

Same phone, same problem. Seen a few other folks dealing with the same issue as well.

I know I installed the 10.1 beta when I had 10.0.1 on the phone. I wonder if the 10.0.2 or 10.0.3 doesn't see the beta as an upgrade for some reason?

The beta is a version of 10.1 which allows plus users to use depth of field with the new camera system

Yes, I know what it is, because I have it (it also adds the ability for iMessage users with reduce effects turned on in accessibility settings to see the new iMessage effects.) However, there are a number of people whose phones were updated from 10.0.1 to 10.0.2 or 10.0.3 before they added the beta profile who are not able to get the beta to download - hence, my speculation that for some reason, the phone doesn't see the beta as a new update that can be installed over 10.0.2 or 10.0.3.

Has anybody been able to install the 10.1 beta on a phone that was updated to 10.0.2 or 10.0.3 (for 7/7 plus) before they installed the beta profile?

Hmmm it's been a few days and still no beta. I'm feeling I shouldn't have updated first. I should've made sure that the beta was working. Im about to erase my iphone and start from scratch. Ill let you all know the final results. I've only had this iphone a couple of days so not too much to lose.

I'm a 7 user also and ran into the same situation did everything mentioned and nothing has showed up for my 10.0.3 download

I wiped and started over as well. Same result. No beta to download. Trying to update from 10.0.3.

I tried to upgrade from 10.0.3 as well but I keep getting a 3194 error. So frustrating. But I guess I'll have to wait for official 10.1.
