Why can I not get into my phone after I updated

My girlfriend just updated her iPhone and her Apple ID was not recognised? She cannot get into her phone now as it requires her Apple ID. Help!?

Welcome to iMore!

Have her log in via browser on a computer to the Apple website and go to the account settings. She can reset her Apple ID (email address) there.
