Having problem setting up Find My Friends so friends do not always get No Location Available message, any help?

Having problem setting up Find My Friends so friends do not always get No Location Available message. Have tried ICloud settings, have tried IPhone Privacy settings but still does not work. It used to work but does not work now. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Do you have WiFi enabled at all times?

Welcome to iMore! Make sure you have location services enabled in Settings > Privacy > Location Services. Also make sure you don't have Share My Location toggled on under "Me" in the app itself.
