Why does my wifi keep turning off by itself?

As soon as I leave settings after turning wifi on it turns itself off. Don't know if I'm doing something wrong or there is a fault with the ipad

I don't know. Try resetting all settings.

Before you leave Settings, do a hard reset.
Hold the top or side power/sleep button and the home button at the same time until the Apple logo appears, then release.

Maybe it will work.
