Problem with Distribution of app

Hello. I am using Xcode 4.0.2 with the PhoneGap plugin and am experiencing some issues with distributing my app. The only way I am allowed to send my project to the archive is to set the scheme to "iOS Device" This build then fails giving me this error: "Code Sign error: The identity 'iPhone Developer' doesn't match any valid certificate/private key pair in the default keychain." I have researched this error and found suggestions for changing the sheme to a simulator, but as i mentioned before, using this scheme does not let me send project to archive so that i can distribute it. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
