My youngest brother uses nothing but Android smartphones, and yet, I don’t have any problems sending and receiving pics from him.

Mrs Tim also and the rest of the family sport iDevices and we never have issues with my S8.
That's why I put this post up, maybe some setting I don't know about....?

If the sender or recipient have a wireless carrier that offers MMS as an option and that option is not part of his or her wireless plan then I suppose that could pose a problem with sending and/or receiving MMS messages. Also, if the Android user is trying to send an MMS message to an iPhone user using the iPhone user’s Apple ID and not his or her phone number, that might pose a problem, too.
